Baba Ramdev who is also the founder of Patanjali Ayurved has earlier denied taking the vaccine as he has the protection of yoga and Ayurveda. However, things took a u-turn as on Thursday, he said he will get the jab shortly.
Also, he narrates doctors as ‘God’s envoys on earth’. However initially, he had alleged that allopathy is a “stupid science” and medicines such as Remdesivir, Faviflu, and other drugs approved by the Drugs Controller General of India have failed to treat COVID-19 patients.
When asked about taking the vaccine doses, he replied, “Get both doses of the vaccine and the double protection of yoga and Ayurveda. They will combine to give you such a robust shield of protection that not a single person will die from Covid.” He also said that he can not have any controversy with Indian Medical Association(IMA), and he was just against the exploitation of people in the name of medicines.
