The transfer order, issued in the interest of optimizing public service, delineated the reassignments of the officers, redirecting them to alternate DEFs or organizations with extant vacancies.

Notable among the transfers was SI Sanjib Tamuli, previously stationed at Jorhat DEF, now slated for duty at Biswanath DEF. Similarly, SI Jaydev Nath, stationed at SB, Assam, has been reassigned to Goalpara DEF, while SI Nayanmoni Patowary, stationed at Udalguri DEF, will now serve at Dhubri DEF.

Among the transferred officers, SI Debajit Borah, previously serving at CID, Assam, and attached to Cyber PS, is now relocated to Jorhat DEF. Likewise, WSI (UB) Mayur Krishna Rajbongshi, who was at SB, Assam, and on deputation at Charaideo DEF, is now directed to Kamrup DEF.

The shuffle also encompassed officers from various ranks and postings, with each transfer tailored to address specific operational requirements and vacancy fillings within the Assam Police force. These movements underscore the dynamic nature of police administration, wherein personnel are routinely realigned to optimize resource utilization and operational efficiency.

With these transfers in effect, the Assam Police anticipates enhanced operational capabilities and streamlined administrative functions across its various districts and organizations.
