SBI CBO Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• Candidates with qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, or Cost Accountant are also eligible.

Age Limit (as of April 30, 2025):

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 30 years
• Candidates must have been born not earlier than May 1, 1995, and not later than April 30, 2004.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank as of April 30, 2025.

Local Language Proficiency:

• Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the circle they are applying for.

Selection Process

1. Online Examination:
   • Objective Test: 120 marks
   • Descriptive Test: 50 marks
   • No negative marking for wrong answers.
2. Screening:
   • Shortlisting based on performance in the online examination.
3. Interview:
   • Candidates shortlisted from the screening process will be called for an interview.
4. Local Language Proficiency Test:
   • Candidates must qualify in this test to be considered for final selection.

• SC/ST/PwBD: Exempted
