Assam drug smugglers carrying heroin have reportedly been arrested in Bokajan, Assam on Monday. The arrested individuals were carrying a huge quantity of the drugs.
2 Assam drug smugglers arrested
As per reports, an operation was launched by the Bokajan Police at Dilai Tiniali and a vehicle bearing a registration number AS 01 NC 3848 has been intercepted. A total of 16 soap boxes, containing 204 grams of heroin was concealed inside along the door panel of the vehicle.
According to police reports, two arrested persons have been identified as Faridul Islam aged 35 and Ajmir Ali aged 21. The smugglers hailed from Morigaon district of Assam.
The case is still under investigation, further information awaits.
