In a shocking incident that occurred in Karimganj, a young deceased girl has been r@ped in the postmortem room at a government hospital.
Deceased Girl Raped in Post-Mortem Room at Karimganj Hospital
According to the complaint, on Friday (05/04/24), a class IX girl from Saglamoa village under Bazaricherra police station in Karimganj committed suicide. Following which, police and the magistrate recovered the body, and sent it to the post-mortem room of the Civil Hospital in Karimganj at night.
The next day, the doctor came to do the post-mortem and saw signs of scars in different parts of the body, starting from the girl’s secret parts. The police were informed about the incident. The police reached the spot and detained the brother of the man in charge of the post-mortem room.
At the end of the interrogation, the arrested man is found to have confessed to everything in the case.
