A tragic incident unfolded in Kerala’s Ernakulam city as a migrant worker from Arunachal Pradesh, identified as Ashok Das, was mercilessly beaten to death by a mob.

Ashok, who worked as a chef at a local restaurant, fell victim to the attack while visiting a female friend in Muvattupuzha. The police have apprehended 10 individuals in connection with the heinous crime.

According to authorities, Ashok was attacked by the mob as he was leaving his friend’s residence. The precise motive behind the brutal assault is yet to be determined, leaving unanswered questions surrounding the tragic event.

Confirming the grim outcome, a senior police official stated, “It is confirmed that the victim was beaten to death by a group of people, and we have arrested 10 people.” The police have registered a case of murder and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Ashok’s untimely demise.

In light of the ongoing investigation, authorities are also exploring the possibility of additional individuals being involved in the brutal killing of the migrant worker. As the investigation progresses, efforts are underway to ensure justice is served for Ashok Das. Meanwhile, arrangements are being made to transport his remains to his relatives in Arunachal Pradesh, where he will be laid to rest.
