Chief Minister Khandu praised the hard work of everyone involved in making this happen, calling it a team effort.

This success is not just about providing water, but it also shows the state’s commitment to making life better for its people. The central government contributed Rs 3,965.41 crore to the project, while the state added Rs 455.51 crore.

Chief Minister Khandu thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the support, saying it was crucial for the project’s success.

The Jal Jeevan Mission, started in 2019, aims to give safe drinking water to every rural household in India by 2024. This achievement by Arunachal Pradesh sets an example for other states to follow. It shows what can be achieved when governments work together towards a common goal, improving the lives of millions of people.
