Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has warned people about a grim future if they support Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party. Speaking to reporters in Biswanath, Sarma said that voting for Congress means supporting Rahul Gandhi, while voting for BJP means supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sarma stated, “People who admire PM Modi and believe that India will rise as a global leader will surely vote for the BJP in the upcoming elections.” He also said that those who support Rahul Gandhi and Congress should be prepared for tough times ahead. Sarma added, “Rahul Gandhi’s future doesn’t look bright, and his followers might face even more difficulties.”
The Chief Minister highlighted that the Congress party’s influence has been decreasing recently. He pointed to many leaders and workers leaving Congress to join the BJP. Sarma confidently predicted that the Congress party might completely disappear from Assam by 2026.
Sarma’s comments come amid a heated political atmosphere in Assam, as parties gear up for the upcoming elections. The BJP and Congress are both campaigning hard to win the support of the people in the state.
