Giving all anxieties a rest regarding the availability of the second dose of Covaxin, the Assam Government has released dates for the administration of the Covaxin for citizens within the age group of 18-44 years who have taken Covaxin first dose.
The government has dispatched vaccines for those who had taken their first dose on the 8th, 9th, or 10th of May. These people can take the second dose at the same Covid Vaccination Centre (CVC) on the 17th, 18th, 19th, or 20th of June.
A walk-in registration will be organising and the vaccine received will cover those mentioned above only. According to the data, on June 16, the Assam government encountered 71,950 doses of Covaxin and 1,34,700 doses of Covishield for the age group 18-44 years.
