Myanmar: As informed by a local resident and a local human rights group, as many as 30 people which included and children, were killed and their bodies burnt in a conflict that raged in Myanmar’s Kayah state on December 24.
About the incident in Myanmar:
According to the Karenni Human Rights Group, they found the burnt bodies of internally displaced people, including elders, women and children killed by the military that rules, near MoSo village of Hpruso town in the early hours of December 26.
Post by the human rights group:
The group in their Facebook post quoted, “We strongly denounce the inhumane and brutal killing which violates human rights.”
According to the state media, “The Myanmar military said it had shot and killed an unspecified number of “terrorists with weapons” from the opposition armed forces in the village.”
Photos shared by the human rights group and local media showed the sear remains of bodies on burnt-out truck beds.
