DHEMAJI: Another drowning incident took place at Jiadhal river in Dhemaji, Assam on Monday afternoon. According to the sources, many people fell into the river.
Three of them were immediately swept away by the speeding current of the water.

The three persons are identified as Kekai Narah, Jagu Mili, and Shailaram Payeng respectively.
Three of them hails from Dhemaji itself. The incident occurred as 10 men were bringing bamboo from Arunachal Pradesh to Melang.
However, 7 persons managed to swim and save their lives while the other three were swept away.
