Ukraine War- Ukraine retaliated shortly after Russia warned the world about the significant risk of nuclear war, saying the Kremlin had lost its “final hope.”
“I wouldn’t want to artificially inflate such risks. That would be appealing to many people. The threat is genuine and dangerous. We must not, however, undervalue it,” Russia’s foreign minister Sergei Lavrov reported to sources when asked about the significance of World War-3.
As the Ukraine war conflict enters its 62nd day, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres traveled to Russia on 26th to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. On Thursday, 28th April, he will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

This was also the first high-profile visit by senior American diplomats since the offensive began on February 24. He stated, “We’re going to keep doing everything we can to make sure they get the stuff they need as soon as possible.”
Ukraine war has shown valor and resistance, according to the Pentagon leader. “Above all, though, we wanted to show our deep appreciation for the Ukrainian people’s everyday heroism. Soldiers on the front lines, medical personnel, and even stubborn grandparents are all resisting Russian attacks. Their bravery has inspired people all throughout the world” he stated
According to sources, the United Kingdom is planning to send ambulances, fire engines, and medical supplies to the war-torn country, while the United States has cleared an emergency declaration for a possible sale of $165 million in ammunition.
The 193-member United Nations General Assembly will vote on a resolution on Tuesday that would seek justification for the use of veto power from five permanent members – the United States, China, Russia, France, and the United Kingdom – at a time when the violence is raging.
In the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, four persons were killed and several others were injured by Russian shelling.
