As the covid cases are rising daily touching the 3000 mark this week, Cotton University stands stiff with its decision to conduct an offline examination of UG 5th semester.
And those who are infected with the virus, a special examination will be conducted.
Students of Cotton University protests
After the notice issued by the administration of Cotton University, students have started protesting against it.
Speaking to ‘The North-Eastern Chronicle,’ one student stated “didn’t know our batch was always this immune, immortal, superhumans”
Another stated, “every time experiment is done on our batch. Be it CAA protest, Corona, etc. yet our university will conduct offline examinations. Two of my batchmates are covid positive yet no consideration is taken as how many more will test positive during the exams.”
Offline Classes suspended till January 31
As per the notice, departments are asked to hole online classes and suspend all theory and practical classes till January 31.
Hostels will accommodate only UG 5th Semester students as they will be having the end sem examination.
