On Wednesday, Assam Minister of Water Resource, Parliamentary Affairs, INPR & Spokesperson Pijush Hazarika hinted at the chance of another lockdown due to surging COVID-19 cases. In a press conference he said that if the COVID situation doesn’t improve, the government may impose another lockdown in the state.
Another lockdown may happen in Assam
He also added that if the public is not conscious enough, they will have to go through another lockdown.
On Tuesday, in a cabinet meeting, Pijush Hazarika directly mentioned the government taking strict action if the public does not obey the Covid protocols.
