Nagaland police has registered 35 cases and has 37 arrests related to drugs and alcohol use.
The following actions have been taken by the Nagaland Police in the second week of its month-long operations to fight against the alarming drug and alcohol use in the state.

According to a press release by the Nagaland Police, for the week between January 18 and 24, it registered 27 cases and arrested 29 persons in connection with the seizure of 9,308 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor.
Also, it mentioned in connection to the seizure of narcotics and psychotropic substances 8 cases have been registered and 8 arrests were also made.
Police seized 4,878 numbers of Spasmo Proxyvon, 55 grams of brown sugar, 15 kilograms of opium, 360 kilograms of ganja, and 0.5 grams of heroin.
General public were also asked to help the police
Further, the Nagaland Police affirmed that it will continue the fight against drugs earnestly.
It also urged the general public to jointly fight the menace by providing any information related to sale, distribution, transport of any form of narcotics, drugs, IMFL, etc., to the nearest Police station.
