Golaghat: Again in yet another incident man was lynched to death by a couple of youths at Mamoroni Gaon village in Dergaon Tehsil.

The man named Ahom Das was tied up and beaten to death by these youths for allegedly stealing a got. He was a daily wage worker and had gone to the market with a cash Rs 5,000. But after that he went missing.
However, while investigating the case, two people named Arnav Bora and Rajiv Bakti have been arrested by the police. Previously it was informed that a law against mob lynching will be implemented by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pijush Hazarika.
“So far, we have not enacted any law against mob lynching but we must take steps to prevent it. Many such gruesome incidents have shaken us,” he said.
