The District Administration of Kamrup (M) has released helpline numbers for the people to get in contact in case of emergency. The helpline numbers have been released keeping in mind the flood situation in Assam.

As per the notice, the numbers are – 0361-1077/9678471071; The number will be in service throughout the day and night. Citizens can reach out to the above-mentioned numbers any time of the day in case of an emergency.
According to the reports published by IMD, Guwahati city is under the yellow watch category.
The whole state of Assam and many parts of Northeast India has been plagued with artificial flood and incessant rainfall. Several hilly terrains have reported landslide accidents.
In terms of the Guwahati city, areas like Zoo Road, Chandmari, Dispur and Hatigaon are the worst affected.
