This however is not applicable to people who have migrated from Pakistan and the children who have their degree from Pakistan but has been granted Indian Citizenship by law. Those who fall under this category can apply for employment in the country only after a clearance certificate from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

As per reports from UGC, the advisory stated , “all concerned are advised not to travel to Pakistan for pursuing Higher education. Any Indian National or overseas Citizen of India who intends to take admission to any degree college or educational institution of Pakistan shall not be eligible for seeking employment or higher studies in India on basis of such educational qualifications acquired in Pakistan.”

The advise has been issued days after students were warned against pursuing their studies in China. The government authorities of China allegedly suspended the visas of several Indian students thus forcing them to return to India. The advisory notice also  added that they do not recognise any degree course in online mode.
