Tsomgo Lake, Sikkim

Nohkalikai Falls, Meghalaya
Nohkalikai falls can be found around 55KM from Shillong. It is just a 5 KM drive away from Cherrapunji and a short trekking trail to reach the ultramarine pool. It takes a plunge from a height of 1100 ft. and is known as the fourth highest waterfall in the world. Post monsoon is the perfect time to see volumes of water taking a plunge from that height. Singalila National Park
It is around 35 KM from Darjeeling and around 122 KM from Gangtok. This alluring National Park is situated at a height of 7000 feet above sea level, covering an area of 79 sq km of land and it is one of the best places to visit in North East India. Tawang Monastery, Arunachal Pradesh
Tawang is a mountain town in Arunachal Pradesh and the Tawang Monastery is a must-visit when in Tawang. The fact which makes it immensely popular is that it is the birthplace of the Dalai Lama. It is located at an elevation of 10,000 feet and is around 7.2 km from Tawang. This monastery is considered a significant monument in Tawang. It is the largest monastery in the entire country and the second largest in the entire world after Lhasa and it is 400 years old. The best time to visit the monastery is November to March. This monastery is in the first place in North East India tourist places, which is hit by travelers when they enter Tawang.
Mawsmai Cave
It is around 60 KM from Shillong. This cave is one of the many caves in Northeast India which has enough light passing for travelers to see the limestone structures and uneven walls.
