Photographs goes viral

Hansal Mehta and Pooja Bhatt have spoken out in response to SRK’s visit to Arthur Road prison to meet Aryan and the ensuing media circus. On Thursday, Shah Rukh Khan paid a visit to Aryan, prompting a rush to photograph him. “Being a celebrity, being a star, being from ‘Bollywood’ means your feeling, your pain, and your concern as a father become a matter of public consumption, cruel abuse, and ruthless judgement,” filmmaker Hansal Mehta wrote on Twitter after the site’s pictures went viral on social media.

About Bollywood?

“Bollywood is not a place, not a company, and certainly not a mafia,” he continued. It’s a slang phrase for a vast group of people who work extremely hard to produce, entertain, and engage, and who, unlike many other professions, are constantly subjected to criticism, scrutiny, and abuse.” “I’m unfamiliar with the phrase Bollywood and have never enjoyed it. What I do know is that this word and the people associated with it are a favourite punching bag and diversionary vehicle for a small group of divisive, abusive, and ineffective cowards,” Mehta said.

Many celebrities, including Hrithik Roshan, Twinkle Khanna, Reema Kagti, Pooja Bhatt, and Zoya Akhtar, have spoken out in support of Shah Rukh Khan since Aryan Khan’s arrest on October 3.

According to a prison official, Shah Rukh Khan met with his kid for about 15 to 20 minutes, with a glass fence between them and communication via intercom. According to the prison manual, the actor was allowed to meet his son like any other prisoner’s family member, and he received no special treatment, the official added.

The narcotics case of Aryan Khan: A timeline of the case so far

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested eight people, including Aryan Khan, in connection with an alleged narcotics bust onboard a cruise liner off the coast of Mumbai. Three of those arrested, including Khan and two others named as Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, were taken to a local court and ordered held in NCB custody until the following day.

The three were accused with accusations of possession, consumption, and sale of prohibited narcotics under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) petition for further custody of the three and five other passengers on the cruise was denied by a Mumbai magistrate’s court. The judge ordered that the eight be taken into custody. The six male accused were brought to Arthur Road jail, including Aryan Khan, while the two female accused were taken to Byculla women’s jail.

The bail applications filed by Aryan Khan, his buddy Arbaaz Merchant, and anchor-model Munmun Dhamecha were denied by the metropolitan magistrate’s court , citing that they were not maintainable before it.

The accused’s lawyers filed a complaint with a Mumbai special court under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The matter will be heard on October 14 by the Special Court. The defence counsel objected to the NCB’s request for a one-week sentence.

A Mumbai special court postponed its decision on Aryan Khan’s bail application until October 20, Wednesday. He was returned to the Arthur Road detention centre. Khan had been a habitual user of contraband for the previous five years, according to NCB during the hearing.

A special court in Mumbai has dismissed Aryan Khan’s bail application, along with those of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha. The judge stated that Aryan Khan’s case amounted to conscious possession of the contraband because he was aware that his friend possessed it. The court also used WhatsApp messages that had been submitted to it.

The bail application of Aryan Khan will be heard next Tuesday, according to the Bombay High Court. Munmun Dhamecha, a co-accused, will have his bail application heard on October 26.
