Kamal Nath tenders resignation from congress party as a leader in madhya pradesh assembly in Thrusday.

According to a leading newspaper agency, in place of Kamal Nath, Dr Govind Singh will take over his position after his resignation.
Although the leader tended his resignation, he will be serving as the MPCC President Party until further notice.
As per the policy of one person one post, he resigned from the position of leader of Congress in Madhya Pradesh. Sonia Gandhi who is the Party President accepted the resignation. In his place, the seven time MLA Dr Govind Singh will be the leader of the party.
As per reports from All India Congress Committee, “The congress president has accepted your resignation from the post of leader, congress legislature party , madhya pradesh with immediate effect.” In addition, it was also mentioned that Nath will continue in his position till 2023 elections are due.
