India crushed England by 157 runs in the fourth Test to register their first win at The Oval in over 50 years. India took a 2-1 lead in the 5-match Test series and will play the final game of the series at the Old Trafford from September 10.
The Indian bowlers showcased incredible skills to dismantle a strong English batting line-up which could only score 210 in their second innings. Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Siraj made the movement off the pitch with the old ball and racked up with the pace.
Ravindra Jadeja’s spell into the rough and crucial breakthroughs took India a 157-run win that had seemed improbable for much of the fourth Test at The Oval.
