Tripura police apprehended seven youths on the charges of gang rape of four girls which including three minors. On June 12 at Bardhaman Thakur Para area, the incidents took place and all the accused were produced before a local court on today seeking their judicial custody.
Manik Debnath, officer in-charge of Srinagar police station while speaking to the press informed that a complaint was registered by the family members of the victims against eight persons and all of them aged between 19 and 21 years.
All the accused persons have been identified as Manjit Debbarma (19), Bir Kumar Debbarma (21), Ripan Debbarma (19), Bimal Debbarma (20), Sajal Debbarma (20), Chanki Debbarma (19) and Bishal Debbarma (21)
