Sikkim-based fashion designer and social entrepreneur, Omi Gurung, has started working on an eco-friendly project named WEAR (WASTE, ENVIRONMENT AND REUSE PROJECT). He is a graduate of Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology.
Omi is popularly known as the ‘Green Man of Sikkim’ after this wonderful initiative taken by him. His aim through this project is to reduce textile waste and to create awareness among the people of Sikkim and encourage them to support eco-friendly fashion
At present, he owns a boutique of his creations named “Green Gangtok Boutique” which has its branches in Sikkim, Bangalore, and Delhi.
