On Saturday, a 19-year-old, Asif Mohammad, was arrested in West Bengal’s Malda District for killing his four family members and then burying them under the basement of their house. The youth was accused of killing his father, mother, sister, and grandmother in February 2021.
Asif dug a hole in the warehouse wall and buried the bodies in the basement, said West Bengal Police.
Asif’s brother, who survived this heinous incident, ran away and informed the Kaliachak police station on Friday, after which he was arrested. According to the police, he confessed to having suffocated his family members after intoxicating his family members.
He initially terrified his brother of the same consequence if he stepped out of the house. However, Arif ran away and left Malda.
