A 23 year old woman died by suicide in Pune, Maharashtra after a fight with her husband as he brought ‘pani puri’ home when she had already cooked a meal, according to police.
It was a result of domestic row
The woman has been identified as Pratiksha Saravade (23) who lived with her husband Gahininath Saravade (33) and a baby in their house in Ambegaon Pathar. According to reports after months of domestic dispute and frequent quarrels, the woman allegedly consumed poison and later died on August 27 in a hospital.
What the police official said?
Senior inspector Jagannath Kalaskar of Bharti Vidyapeeth police station said, “We have come to know that the couple had been having domestic issues since their marriage in 2019. Last week, the couple had a fight over the husband bringing panipuri from an eatery without informing the wife when she had already cooked a meal. Next day, she consumed a poisonous substance. She was admitted to a hospital, where she breathed her last on Sunday.
The police have registered a case and arrested her husband
A case of abetment to suicide was registered by the woman’s father against her husband Gahininath, and he got arrested on 30th August and remanded to police custody on 31st August.
