On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the members of the NSS AEC unit paid a visit to the ‘Mother Old Age Home‘, located in Hatigaon, Guwahati on 8th May 2022.
Students of AEC celebrates Mother’s Day away from home
The students visited the old age home in order to fill the longing for a mother at a place miles away from home. The day was brimming with heart-warming smiles and blessings of Aitas and Kokas as our members presented them with a cake to commemorate the occasion.
They were also gifted a painting and games as a token of appreciation. Snacks and fruits were arranged for all the beloved Aitas and kokas. Several cultural performances added to the cheerfulness as the beloved grandparents swayed to the beats of Bihu songs.
