Graduation holds a special place in every student’s life hence universities these days go beyond their ways to give the graduating students a special send-off. Recently, Gujarat, Vadodara-based Parul University’s 5th annual convocation took place where the former Indian captain Mr. Kapil Dev and actress Dia Mirza were present as the honorary guests.
Parul University- 5454 graduates from different disciplines
A total of 5454 graduating candidates from the disciplines of engineering and technology, applied sciences, commerce, arts, fine arts, library science, health administration, public health, vocational studies, pharmacy, physiotherapy, Ayurved, Homoeopathy, nursing, architecture, agriculture, social work, design, law, computer applications, management, business administration was conferred diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate degrees.
A total of 8,500 students along with their parents were present to witness the conferment of the degrees in their awards.
A total of 61 gold medals along with 33 Certificates of Merit were awarded to the top performers of respective degree programs in the university.
Dr. Devanshu Patel, the President of Parul University delivered an impactful and inspiring speech to all the students gathered to uplift their spirits before they step into the real world.
