64th Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal, Barama Camp at Howly has organized Swachhata Pakhwada program under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign. It is noted the Cleanliness Drive will continue till December 15, 2022.
Sashastra Seema Bal Launches Cleanliness Drive
A Cleanliness Drive was organized on December 6 at Borbarijhar High School, Moutupuri, Barpeta under the guidance of Sh. Nand Kishore Tamta, Commandant 64 Bn SSB. The campaign was led by Shri Satish Chandra Gangwar, Deputy Commandant, 64th Bn, Sashastra Seema Bal and assisted by Mrs. Rupali Das, Principal of Borbarijhar High School with the intension to aware locals and school students about the Swachh Bharat Mission and its significance launched by the Government of India.
Sh. Satish Chandra Gangwar, Deputy Commandant briefed school students, teachers and other staff present during the programme about the importance of cleanliness in the society and surrounding areas and highlighted about the plastic-free campaign launched by Narendra Modi.
He further stressed upon the slogan ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness.’ Sh. Satish Chandra Gangwar, Deputy Commandant, Sh. Ashok Kumar, Assistant Commandant (Communication), other subordinate Officers, Jawans of 64 Bn SSB, Mrs. Rupali Das, Principal of Borbarijhar High School, Mr. Dibya Jyoti Das, teacher of Borbarijhar High School, students and other staff were present during the programme.
