An inquiry team of the Indian Army will visit the location in Oting on December 29 to investigate the December 4 incident which claimed 14 lives. The team will also be present at the Tizit police station in the district between 1.30 PM to 3 PM on the day.
Statement by Indian Army

”In reference to Indian Army inquiry into Dec 4 incident at Oting, Nagaland, the Army Inquiry Team will visit the incident site on 29 Dec. Team will also be present at Tizit Police Station, Mon District on the same day,” an official statement said.
According to the statement, it has been requested to share any original information be it a photo or video related to the incident with the inquiry team via phone, SMS, or Whatsapp messenger at +916033924571.
The release also said the information may also be shared in person with the inquiry team at Dinjan military station in Assam. The Nagaland government on Sunday had asserted that a committee would soon be instituted to look into the withdrawal of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) from the state.
