Manik Saha has been chosen as Tripura’s new Chief Minister on wee hours of Saturday after Biplab Kumar Deb resigned from his position. The oath taking ceremony will commence at 11:30 AM, today on 15th May 2022.

Manik Saha is all set to become the eleventh Chief Minister of Tripura. The swearing in ceremony will take place at the Raj Bhawan in Agartala at 11:30 AM.
He was chosen as the new CM right after Biplab Kumar Deb resigned from his post.
Saha is at present a MP at the Rajya Sabha and also the President of BJP unit. He joined the party in the year 2016 after leaving congress. As the new Chief Minister was nominated, the party was reconstituted with some of the new faces. Now the committee will have three general secretaries, seven vice presidents, six secretaries, seven spokesperson.
The new minister also shared a tweet on his social media handle, congratulating the new office bearers of Tripura.
