IMD issues an orange alert in Guwahati, as Heavy to very heavy rainfall predicted in the city for the next 2 to 3 days.
The warning also alerts the citizens of Guwahati that the depleting weather condition may result in poor visibility, and water logging in several areas.
IMD issues warning amidst heavy rainfall
Some of the hilly areas that are prone to land and mudslides may also occur.
The notice has been issued today by the Indian Meteorological Department stating that ‘significant rainfall recorded in last 24 hours is predicted in the city.
