Another tragic accident in Guwahati, where a bike rider and the pillion were killed on Sunday November 21 when a city bus (AS 01KC 5638) collided with their bike (WB 58BH 1338) near Maligaon-Adabari flyover.

Due to the raoad mishap traffic on the Maligaon-Adabari road came to a standstill for several hours, creating heavy traffic jam and problems for the commuters as they were unable to move their vehicles.
According to reports, it took few hours for the traffic police to remove the bus and the motorcycle from the spot and restore the normal movement of traffic.
Identities of the deceased
The identities of the deceased have not been ascertained yet. Both the bodies were sent for post mortem.
