Guwahati: On Monday, November 22, Health & Enforcement branches of Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) carried out a Trade License inspection drive at RG Baruah road.
Four Bar cum Restaurant inspected in Guwahati, three running without valid license
A total of four Bar cum Restaurants in the city were inspected, out of which it is found three bars were running and carrying on their business.without a valid trade license.
Fine imposed by GMC to those operating without license
All those Bars cum Restaurants which are operating without a valid trade license were issued notices, and fines were imposed, as per the provisions of the GMC Act.
During the drive, GMC collected a total of Rs 20,000 as penalty. Further a time period has been given to those businesses to procure valid trade licenses, strict action will be taken if they failed to do so.
