About the library
The Library & Documentation sub-committee of Ramhlun South YMA on Thursday morning opened their roadside library at their vicinity, for anyone or we may say ‘everyone’, keeping up the reading spirits high and this is one of another creative initiative by the Ramhlun South YMA.
Earlier in the year 2020, a mini roadside library in Mizoram’s capital Aizawl went gone viral on social media.
The viral post was shared by an IFS officer Parveen Kaswan with the caption: “Now this is what every city must copy. #Mizoram’s capital #Aizawl has a couple of these tiny roadside libraries. Libraries are the best investment nation-building. Northeast showing the way.”
However, this roadside library facilitates access to exchange free books.
