Assam: Two drug peddlers on November 24, were injured in police firing along the Tinsukia bypass while they were carrying heroin.
Identity of the peddlers:
Both of the injured peddlers have been identified as Amar Das and Apan Nuli.
Assam Police take on this:
The police stated that both of the peddlers were travelling on a Tata Nexon vehicle bearing registration no (AS 03 Z 7172) and were coming from the side of Dibrugarh.
Current status:
Both of them have been admitted to the Tinsukia civil hospital under serious condition.
