The Assam Rifles nabbed a militant from a banned group called the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) from the Kakching area of Manipur.
Assam Rifles apprehend 1 militant
As per reports from The Sentinel, the forces shared the information on Twitter wherein it was mentioned that they apprehended one militant from the banned group on the 27th of May 2022.
The tweet read, “Phundrei Battalion of the Rifles along with Manipur Police, on 27th May apprehended an insurgent of proscribed group PLA from Wabagai Keithei Macha, Kakching district Manipur.”
According to reports, the militant was later handed over to Hiyanglam Police Station.
