Assam: A married woman and mother of three eloped in Juria, Nagaon, with her lover with whom she had secretly built a relationship.
What happened?
According to reports in the media, her father-in-law has filed a complaint with the Juria police station alleging that his daughter-in-law stole Rs.32,000 and some silver jewelry from the house before eloping with the lover.
Billaluddin, who is also a father of five, has been identified as the woman’s lover.
Her family members claimed that her spouse earns his living in Kerala. She took advantage of it and began an illicit affair with Billaluddin, who came to her house on occasion.

Earlier, a married woman from Assam’s Nagaon district is claimed to have fled her home 25 times in another case in Nagaon. She has ‘eloped’ with other males 20-25 times since her marriage, according to the woman’s father-in-law.
She has returned home, and her husband has expressed his readiness to ‘welcome her.’ The woman and her husband, who live in the Dhing Lahkar hamlet of Central Assam, have three children. A three-month-old infant is their newest addition. She’s never run away from home before, and she’s always come back within a few days.
According to reports, the woman just eloped with a man from her neighbourhood. This is her 25th attempt at avoiding capture, according to reports.
“On September 4, when I arrived home from a motor garage, I didn’t locate my wife,” her husband, a driver, recalled. She had fled after leaving my 3-month-old kid with a neighbour. She informed her neighbours that she was going to look for some goat food. She bolted, taking Rs 22,000 and other valuables from my home.”
