The Government of Assam has today issued a New SOP for Covid-19.
Considering the recent rise in Covid-19 cases and the new variant Omicron, the government has today issued notice regarding maintenance of Covid-19 protocols.
Revised Covid-19 SOP
1) As per the revised SOP if any area traces more than 10 Covid-19 positive cases, that area shall be made a containment zone.
2) Curfew timings shall be from 10pm to 6am for all districts.
3) Commercial establishments, shops dealing with groceries, fruits, vegetables and everyday essentials items shall remain open till 9pm.
4) Also restaurants and Dhabas shall operate with 50% capacity upto 9pm. However, takeaways are allowed till 10pm.
5) All Government employees who are fully vaccinated shall attend office daily. And those who aren’t will not be allowed to attend office.
