Assam Government: During the cabinet meeting held on November 24, has taken some key decisions Including rules for PG courses in Government Medical Colleges.
Mandatory Services
Students after clearing the Exams will get a University certificate only after serving Govt of Assam for 1 year.
Further, bond to be in conditioned for 10 years of service after completion of PG or pay Rs 25 Lakh in lieu; also post-service benefits will be provided after resignation and VRS.
Bond Violation Charge
PG degree Rs 20 lakh would be charged and for PG diploma Rs 15 lakh would be charged. Students belonging from Economically Weaker Sections, EWS certificate to be allowed to be produced till first Counseling.
Srimanta Sankardev University of Health Sciences
Two advance increments are to be given to postgraduates of Srimanta Sankardev University of Health Sciences in 5 disciplines Clinical Anaesthesiology, Maternal Health, Radiology, Paediatric medicine, and Orthopedics.
