Based on the recent Covid-19 scenario of the state, the Kamrup Metro district administration has warned the roadside pedestrians, cyclists, and citizens to stay at home and not go for unnecessary outings to restrain the virus from spreading at a much higher rate.
Thorough observations around the city were made and it was reported by the administration that numbers of roadside pedestrians and cyclists are coming out of their house in the name of evening walk or exercise, thus, violating COVID protocols.
The administration will conduct surprise inspections at various parts of the city. Violation of the law will attract action against the people.
