The Red Bull driver, Max Verstappen took home his third straight pole position of the season following a win in the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday. Valtteri Bottas came second, with Lando Norris completing the podium in third and Verstappen’s rival Lewis Hamilton could only manage fourth place.
Verstappen’s latest pole was on his team’s home track at the Red Bull ring, where he won from pole last weekend. The Formula One championship leader has successfully sealed three straight victories and a fifth in a row for Red Bull.
“Incredible to be honest, the car was unreal. On every tyre set we put on, it was really enjoyable to drive. A great effort by the whole team. These two weeks here have been incredible,” said Verstappen.
