Tripura considering the ongoing rise in cases of Covid-19 has decided to impose night curfew.
Also few other restrictions have also been imposed on the state to help curb Covid-19 rise.

Tripura night curfew timings
The notified timing for night curfew in Tripura is from 9pm to 5am for 10 days, starting from Monday which is 10 January’22.
The notification further added that meetings and gatherings will be allowed in closed places, at one-third of its capacity. Also, no public meeting will be allowed in open spaces.
Only 50% capacity allowed for movie halls, sports complexes and stadiums, entertainment parks, and bars.
Furthermore, standalone shops and commercial establishments including shopping complexes, malls, beauty parlors, barber shops will remain open from 6 am to 8:30 pm.
But Medicine shops can remain open at all times. Only 100 people are allowed for marriage functions and people have to follow COVID protocols.
Tripura likely to witness spike

Sushanta Chowdhury, State Information and Cultural Affairs minister, said health experts have predicted that Tripura is likely to witness a “peak” in COVID-19 cases in January and February.
According to him, the health experts have already sounded an alarm. Considering the present situation prevailing all over the state, an initial projection of 32,000 cases has been set.
According to a health department report, Tripura has an overall 5 % positivity rate while the Agartala Municipal Corporation has a 16.95 % positivity rate.
