Fly Big airline started a direct flight service from the Capital City of Assam to Bihar. The services started on the 1st of May 2022.

As per the reports from the Airport Authority of India, there are in total three flights connecting the cities of Patna and Guwahati. The other two apart from fly big, flight services have been launched by Spicejet and IndiGo.
After the flight landed in Patna, a water canon salute was given to the flight’s maiden on the 1st of May 2022.
According to the station manager of the airline services, Vivek Kumar, the maximum capacity of the airline is about 78 passengers and the flight will be in operational service on a day to day basis.
He further added that a few more services will be added that will connect the areas of Rupsi in Assam to Agartala in Tripura. He said, “Our flight (S9-209) will Guwahati at 6:15am and reach Patna at 7:20 am. On its return, the flight (S9-210) will leave Patna at 7:40 am and reach Guwahati at 8:45 am.”
As per reports, Patna Airport will now cater to almost 52 outbound flights of – Air India, IndiGo, GoAir, Spicejet and Vistara.
This new flight service will enhance connectivity in both the states and also boost the economy.
