In the Fulertal area of the Cachar district, which is spread over an area of 1,500 hectares, pineapple cultivation takes place every year.
However, this year production has reached its peak and they have successfully produced 2.5 Cr pineapple, thereby setting a record.
According to the statistics, this year’s Fulertal pineapple has been able to produce 2.5 crores of fruit, setting a new record for the district.
According to District Agriculture Department, winter food grains are cultivated in 95,000 hectares of land in the district in the current financial year and as a result of this cultivation, it has produced 4,08,500 metric tons of food grains.
