Assam: The Task Force set up by the District Administration of the Kamrup Metro had initiated their inspection in Guwahati markets, with the motive to ensure that retailers are not overcharging.
About the Inspection in Assam
Officials of the Task Force of Kamrup Metro district administration, have been seen to have visited the markets of Guwahati, Assam, in the morning of November 26, Friday.
The Kamrup Metro district administration had set up four Task Forces, to facilitate control over pricing of essential commodities, specifically edibles, like potatoes and onions, fish and meat.
Officials of the force would personally visit (in order to inspect) all major Guwahati markets. The report of the same (inspection) would be liable to submission to the Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup Metro.
