BTS ( Bangtan Sonyeondan) are a South Korean group consisting of seven members namely, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, who is not only known for breaking records but also making a monumental impact in the society with their charitable deeds. Inspired by BTS’s positive efforts to make the world a better place, their fandom, BTS ARMY, also never fails to be a force of good change in the world.
In one of the many charitable causes, BangtanTezpur, the official account for the Tezpur fanbase of BTS, organised a project to help society in the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic. “You Never Walk Alone”, is a project which aims to raise money for the vulnerable communities affected by the pandemic, through a fundraising live stream. This live stream was held on 11th, July 2021, starting from 3:30 pm, which also featured beautiful performances by the members of the fandom.
The Tezpur based fanbase also informed that all the proceeds will be donated to an NGO named “Small Wish International”.
BTS ARMY is a large and ever-expanding fandom, with people from different walks of life who functions more like a family in making the world a better place, just like BTS says, “Whether in Korea or elsewhere, we go in as much of a positive direction as we can, whether through our music or charity.”
