Forcefully testing for COVID-19 is a violation of fundamental rights, and thus Locals believe that this act portrays alleged forceful measures to test the citizens. But if the same comes with a request, residents might agree to it.
The mentioned district recorded 237 COVID-19 positive cases and four deaths in the past 48 hours.
On the other hand, Health officials have said that a further surge in cases was being noted in some states, like, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh. And the initiative by the government still remains a question to many.
