As the war on drugs continues in the state the Nalbari Police arrested four drug peddlers.
On February 10, the Nalbari Police arrested four drug peddlers and five gamblers with 5.03 gm of suspected Heroin and one Alto car.

They took this incident to their official Twitter handle where they wrote, “Based on credible input, the staff of Kamarkuchi OP apprehended 4 drug peddlers yesterday and recovered 5.03 gm of suspected Heroin and one Alto car.#Assamsaysnotodrugs@assampolice@DGPAssamPolice@gpsinghips@HardiSpeaks.”
The contrabands are now I’m possession of the Nagaon Police. However, more details about the operation are still awaited.
Previous cases
Earlier, the Anti Narcotics Squad of Nagaon Police arrested 7 drug peddlers including two women from Khutikotia, Sensuwa and Nagaon Dhing Gate in January.
Police subsequently seized suspected heroin and other plastic containers filled with suspected heroin and other narcotics substances from those peddlers, sources said.
