An entrepreneur from Assam, Ranjit Baruah, launched a special tea called “Swarna Panam” which is made of edible 24-carat gold. The edible pure gold flakes tea will cost 2.5 lakhs per kg.

The product contains rare Assam black tea with honey notes. It is made from the most delicate tender leaves tea clones handcrafted to perfection.
Ranjit Baruah is the founder of the startup Aromica Tea which currently has over 47 varieties of value-added tea. Presently, the startup is incubated with NEATEHUB, the Atal Incubation Centre/ Assam Agricultural University’s agribusiness incubator.
